What Is Visual Closure?

Visual closure is a task in which the subject is asked to recognize or identify an object although the total stimulus is not presented. For example, a competent reader can read a line of print when the top half of the print is covered. There are enough letter clues in the remaining portion for the reader to provide visual closure to read the line.

Audiblox is effective in overcoming dyslexia and other learning disabilities by addressing the underlying shortcomings that interfere with academic performance. Underlying shortcomings include visual closure.
