What Is Insomnia?
Difficulty falling asleep or walking up frequently during the night, accompanied with poor concentration and focus, memory problems, impaired motor coordination, irritability and feeling fatigued and sleep-deprived during the day, are all classic symptoms of insomnia.
In most cases itís a symptom of some other problem, which could be physical or psychological. But the effect insomnia has on your health should never be underestimated. To function optimally and live a productive, healthy life, you need to sleep an average of eight hours per night.
